Outreach Services empowers students through increasing awareness of and access to SDCE’s FREE academic courses and programs leading to career and/or credit college transition pathways.

He currently serves as Outreach Coordinator for San Diego Continuing Education (CE) Outreach Department to boast their seven facilities, free programs & educational opportunities. Where he encourage & support potential students who have overcome difficult obstacles, including first generation college students, unstable living environment, or socioeconomically challenged. In his professional capacity, he serve as a matriculation liaison and beneficial educational/vocational resources for the San Diego community.

Hi! My name is Rosemary Leyva, I am a Project Assistant at SDCE & I am here to support you through your journey. Not everyone follows the same educational path & I am here to encourage & reassure you that it is perfectly fine to create your own. My educational journey began at SDCE taking computer courses at ECC. Once I completed the Office Assistant program, I pursued my interest in the Healthcare field. Fortunately, after my completion of the CNA program & with the help of counselors & staff, I transitioned to City College where I am currently working on my Associates Degree in Allied Health.
