Who We Are

The Research Office conducts research and planning activities in support of SDCE's mission, values, and strategic goals.

What We Do

The research arm of the Institutional Effectiveness Office provides information and guidance to support data-informed decision making across the institution, including support for:

  • accountability reporting efforts (accreditation, federal requirements, grants, regional initiatives, and statewide initiatives)
  • categorical, grant and special programs
  • enrollment management
  • institution-wide strategic planning and assessment efforts
  • outcomes assessment
  • program review
  • resource allocation

Specific services provided may include:

  • Guidance for regional and state-wide noncredit reporting efforts
  • Institution-wide strategic planning assessment
  • Program/project evaluation
  • Research design
  • Survey design and programming
  • Workshops and trainings to support institutional effectiveness

How to Request Research Services

To request research please complete the Request for Research Form. Be as specific as possible when answering each of the questions. Please submit your completed research request form and supporting documents (survey instrument, timeline, etc.) to Jessica Luedtke, SDCE's research and planning analyst.
