San Diego Continuing Education Hosts Veterans Fair for Local Adult Students on Nov 9

Mountain View, CA. — Today, Thursday, November 9, from 9:30am – 2:00m, San Diego Continuing Education (SDCE) will host “Honoring All Who Served”, a Veteran-focused resource fair.

Various military friendly organizations will be in attendance to share about education and career transition opportunities including, Back 2 Work Caltrans Veterans Outreach Program (VOP), an organization that works specifically with formerly incarcerated veterans. Student and community members are invited to attend the free event.

More than 12,500 military veterans and active duty are enrolled at the San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) and San Diego Continuing Education (SDCE). California has more veterans than any other state. SDCE provides free general education and short-term vocational certificate programs making the transition into education more comfortable for individuals who are not looking to go to a four-year university directly following service in the military.
