Culinary Arts


Being a part of the development of the Baking and Pastry program at Grossmont College has led Sara to teach at San Diego Culinary Institute, Southwestern College and San Diego Community College. Sara always stays current in the industry and assumed the position of Executive Chef at Aubergine on 4th Avenue in San Diego from 2004 – 2006.

Sara has found a home with the San Diego Community College Continuing Education Program teaching a variety of cooking skills to the everyday cook and those who want to pursue a career in the food industry.

Mission: San Diego Continuing Education commits to student success and community enrichment by providing accessible, equitable, and innovative quality education and support services to diverse adult learners in pursuit of lifelong learning, training, career advancement, and pathways to college.
