Michelle applied ten years of business and international operations, organizational development, and training skills to higher education in 2001, developing and leading the Admissions Processing Center at Alliant International University through the implementation of a centralized office that serviced seven campuses. She moved on to the San Diego Community College district managing projects and resources to support the institution’s student, faculty and research systems and operations.
Michelle was previously responsible for managing and enhancing the non-credit Business & Information Technology Program at all six San Diego Continuing Education campuses along with Continuing Education's Distance Education Program. The building received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. Michelle then moved on to develop the San Diego Continuing Education Office of Institutional Effectiveness as Dean.
