Sheet Metal

The Sheet Metal certificate program at Centre City/Skills Center covers 7 modules that prepare students for entry-level work in the metal trades industry as a Sheet Metal Worker. The program is self-paced. On the average, students finish their training within 4 to 5 months. The 600-hour program covers:

  • Orientation and General Safety
  • Trade Math, Blueprints and Layout
  • Shop Safety, Tools and Metals
  • Sheet Metal Fabrication
  • Installation
  • Sheet Metal Welding
  • Gas Tungsten Arc Welding and Gas MIG Arc Welding

Graduates receive a 600-hour Certificate of Completion.
