This course is designed for students with little or no background in French. Learn basic conversational skills with an emphasis on everyday terms and expressions. Become familiar with the sounds of the French language, and basic vocabulary and phrases. Topics will include cultural awareness from a native Frenchman’s perspective. Materials fee- $30

French

Conversational French 1

This course is designed for students with little or no background in French. Learn basic conversational skills with an emphasis on everyday terms and expressions. Become familiar with the sounds of the French language, and basic vocabulary and phrases. Topics will include cultural awareness from a native Frenchman’s perspective. Materials fee- $30

Conversational French 2

For students with some background in speaking French, and are ready for the next level of proficiency. After individual skill assessment, the course will cater to the group’s interests and identify needs to achieve increased confidence when traveling to France or Canada. Class fee is $160. Materials fee is $30.

Japanese I Introduction

Speaking Japanese is cool as anyone who has ever seen a manga or anime or ordered at a sushi bar knows. The hard part is learning it in the first place. Or is it? If you have a couple of hours a week to spend mastering the basics of conversation in this fun and fast-paced class, you can get around in Japan (or hang around with Japanese friends here) better than you might have imagined. The teacher is a seasoned simultaneous interpreter who believes the most important sense to develop for speaking Japanese is a sense of humor. Ganbatte. Materials Fee-$30.00
