Introduction to Glass Fusing

Students will be introduced to glass cutting and kiln firing techniques and procedures that will produce a variety of slumped and fused glass projects (plates, bowls, candy dishes, candle holders, jewelry and an array of art pieces).

Pewtersmithing

Pewter, made up of antimony, cooper, and tin is one of the most mysterious of the non-ferous metals. Due to it's very low melting temperature and high malleability it can be moved faster and in different ways than other metals. In this workshop you will learn to solder, fuse and form pewter along with different finishing techniques. Create one to two finished products. Materials fee-$30.

Printmaking

Printmaking is a centuries old technique for creating art and illustrations in multiple originals. Over the generations it has evolved into a Fine Art form capable of producing beautiful and unique expressions of the printmaker's imagination and skill.

The class will introduce to beginners or advanced students, at all levels, printmaking methods such as Drypoint, Etching, Aquatint, Mezzotint, Collagraph, Woodcut and Linoleum Block.

Advanced students will receive instruction in Viscosity, color printing, relief and Intaglio according to their interests.
