Sewing fundamentals emphasizes the development of basic sewing skills used to create apparel for individual clients, self and family. This course focuses on pattern and fabric selection, basic construction techniques, pressing skills, and time saving technologies and techniques. Selection, care, and use of various types of sewing machines included. Save money sewing for yourself, family and friends.
Choose and construct a sewn product from commercialpatterns. Relate commercial pattern to your personal skill level. Receive the help you need to pick your pattern and sew product to completion. Gain practice experience in fitting. Build on the basics you learned in previous classes.
